Network Thermostat, a leading communications-based thermostat manufacturer, has announced the availability of its NT-OSC (ceiling mount) and NT-OSW (wall mount) occupancy sensors, which integrate with any Network Thermostat GE, HP, or UP thermostat to provide automated control of HVAC operation based on room occupancy.
The sensors are connected to the thermostat via a single CAT5 or 4-wire thermostat cable. The thermostat provides power and automatically recognizes the occupancy sensor. The NT-OSC and NT-OSW sensors enable occupancy control of the HVAC system without the need for schedules or programming, says the company.
